I pastored a small to mid-sized church. Now, I give pastors the help I always wished I had:
I operate as a member of your team to create practical solutions.
Three values form the StewardShift Method:
RELATIONSHIPS FIRST.
Everything in a church moves at the speed of relationships, so we prioritize knowing your team and relational context.
NO SILVER BULLETS.
We work with you and your team in your context. We apply great principles to your church, but never copy, cut, and paste!
PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS.
The last thing a pastor needs is one more person telling him what he should do. We help you take action through your team.
A little about me: Whitney Clayton
I’m Whitney Clayton, and at my core, I am just a follower of Jesus who really loves the church and believes in pastors. Like a lot of pastors, I spent years leading in the church while working side gigs to bridge the gap between what my church could pay me and what my family needed.
After starting and running multiple businesses while pastoring a small church, God began to shift my vision of stewardship from fear-based protectionism to faith-fueled multiplication. I want to see other pastors lead their churches through the same stewardship shift.
That’s why I founded The StewardShift, to help pastors and church leaders find financial freedom by unlocking new revenue streams. While that’s the big vision, we churches will start by building sound financial systems. Then we will begin shifting the stewardship culture across every level of the church before we begin really maximizing the resources God has given.
I believe that a church’s stewardship vision is not about saving and protecting—it’s about stewarding resources to multiply long-term ministry impact. My goal is to equip churches with the tools and strategies to shift from financial strain to financial strength, so they can focus on what matters most: making disciples.
If you’re ready to explore a new way forward, let’s start the conversation.
